Christmas Poem from Artist's Square!

***I wrote this for a Christmas Writing Contest @ Artist's Square & decided I wanted to keep it***

The bells they ring in the Artist's Square
To celebrate the great artists
We've got galleries, polls, blogs and articles
And creative people in contests
And old Mr. Santa sits and stares
Watching these members interact
I don't think he'll make it to kids this Christmas
This site of talent his big red bag lacks
It seems his envy has taken over
And we've been trying to make him go away
For Rudolph is conscious of his nose again
Disappointed of an empty sleigh
Mrs. Claus has been pushing the elves
Way more than they've ever worked
Santa wants the one thing he can't "wrap"
And is acting like such a jerk
He wants to enter the contest
Fifty dollars reflects from his eyes
His fear is that not enough people
Are going for that cash prize
In his mind that's more cookie money
Left by children on a plate
And the one thing that will make him go
Is----for more artists to participate
